StopRoute is operated by Flower Child Flowers LLC, doing business as StopRoute. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the StopRoute application and related services. By using StopRoute, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information — phone number used for login verification via one-time passcode (OTP)
- Delivery addresses — street addresses provided for route stops
- Recipient information — names and phone numbers of delivery recipients for notification purposes
- Driver location — GPS coordinates collected during active delivery routes
- Route data — stop order, delivery status, timestamps, and route configurations
- Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Calculate and optimize delivery routes
- Send SMS notifications to delivery recipients about upcoming deliveries
- Track driver location during active routes for delivery coordination
- Improve the accuracy and performance of our routing services
- Provide customer support and resolve issues
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Third-Party Services
StopRoute uses the following third-party services to operate. These services receive only the data necessary for their function:
- Google Maps Platform— we send delivery addresses and driver location data to Google Maps APIs for address lookup, geocoding, and route calculation. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
- Twilio— we send phone numbers to Twilio (including Twilio Verify) for one-time passcode delivery and, where applicable, delivery notification messages. Twilio's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
- Resend— we send email addresses and message content to Resend for transactional email delivery, including account verification codes, password reset codes, and account notifications. Resend's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
We do not share your data with any other third-party services beyond what is described above.
SMS Messaging Disclosures
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from StopRoute. These messages include:
- One-time passcodes for account login verification
- Delivery notification messages sent to recipients
Message frequency: Login codes are sent once per login attempt. Delivery notifications are sent up to 2 messages per delivery (estimated arrival and delivery confirmation).
Message and data rates may apply.Your carrier's standard messaging rates apply to all SMS messages.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any StopRoute message to stop receiving SMS notifications. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact us at [email protected] to manage your messaging preferences.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We do not share, sell, or buy phone numbers or SMS opt-in data. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely for the messaging purposes described above. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Driver Location Data
GPS location data is collected from drivers only while a delivery route is actively in progress. Location tracking stops automatically when the route is completed, abandoned, or ended. Location data is used solely for delivery coordination, route optimization, and displaying the driver's position to the dispatcher and to recipients receiving delivery notifications. It is not shared with third parties except Google Maps for routing calculations.
Background location:The driver mobile app collects location while running in the background during an active route, so the dispatcher can monitor progress even when the driver isn't looking at their phone. On iOS this requires the "Always" location permission; on Android it requires the "ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION" permission. The app requests these permissions explicitly and explains why before requesting. Background tracking stops as soon as the route ends.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your StopRoute account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected] from the email address on file. Account deletion removes your login credentials, profile information, route history, and any personal data we hold about you within 30 days. Some anonymized operational logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, after which they are automatically deleted.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. Route and delivery data is retained to provide delivery history and support business record-keeping. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Driver GPS location data from completed routes is retained for up to 90 days for operational purposes, then automatically deleted.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure server infrastructure, and access controls. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of SMS notifications at any time
- Export your delivery and route data

Children's Privacy
StopRoute is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other appropriate means. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
